the play is about the time that Vincent Van Gogh spent in Brixton. The set was an interior, with some echoes of his paintings. The floor was a wood plank floor, with 'handpainted' cherryblossoms bordering it, and some stronger paint streaks in van goghy colours thrown in.We made the cherryblossom flowers out of a soft linoleum.
